Anxiety, self doubt and depression are common symptoms when life gives us too much input to handle. Heart Centered Therapy provides a safe container to share experiences, get soothing for your nervous system, and reconnect with your vitality.
Instead of focusing on the need to fix something, Heart Centered Therapy emphasizes befriending our patterns, and listening to what they are calling for.
Creativity is engaged to find new ways of attending to the practical needs of the body while you follow your heart's desire.
I call this process Building a Rainbow Bridge
between the client’s present situation - and their dreams.
In Person Sessions
My commitment to healing has led me to study with various experts in the field of psychology, brain function and energy medicine. I am also a survivor of many years with Lyme Disease and other complications. This rigorous teacher has brought me the most valuable lessons of all. The hard won balance of surrender and acceptance informs much of my work. The knowledge that I have survived and thrived allows me to live in the truth that others can heal, as I have.
Hakomi is a mindfulness and somatic based therapy. The method is designed to focus on experiences, rather than analyzing issues.
The client tunes into memories, feelings, or sensations in the present moment. These experiences are clues, that lead us to the cause of bigger patterns. We attend to the deep cause of these patterns with precision and care. Relief, and new perspectives are discovered. The changes settle into the whole body.

This method combines the best of Relational Therapy and Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi Therapy. During each session, we pay attention to the state of the nervous system. The client discovers, in detail, what wind them up, and what they need to calm it back down. The client gains more control over their state of being, and more compassion for themselves. Relational Somatic Healing is grounded in the principals of loving presence, embodiment, authenticity, and inclusiveness.

Relational Therapy is based upon the theory that clients need to have mutually satisfying relationships in place to have full emotional well-being. Relational therapy uses the therapist/client relationship as a basis to investigate patterns in relationships with others. This process was developed to help clients to transform the client’s sense of self, enhance their feeling of well-being when interacting with others.
